Abstract Objectives Tokyo Dental College started oral cancer screening in cooperation with a local dental association 1992. Reveal the usefulness of Countermeasure and Opportunistic Screening Systems for Oral Cancer. The actual results countermeasure opportunistic systems are reported. Materials Methods public was performed each region, general clinic cooperating physician. Results In screening, 19,721 persons were checked from 1992 to 2018; gender ratio 1:3. close examination rate 4.45%. detection rates potentially malignant disorders 0.13% 1.85%, respectively. 29,912 2006 2:3. 2.33%. 0.08% 2.15%, significantly lower than screening. positive predictive value equivalent. addition, higher Conclusion equivalent between screenings, more effective on number participants rate, disorders.
